Fix Auto Salmon Arm has an exciting opportunity
for an eager and driven individual to join our team as a full-time Shipper-Receiver.
Reporting to the Location Manager, the Shipper-Receiver will play an integral
role in the repair process by ensuring parts are received without damage and on
schedule. Our ideal candidate has a can-do attitude, exceptional attention to
detail, and is a team player!
The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday from
8:00 am to 5:00 pm and will have the opportunity to earn between $17.40 and $20
per hour. This opportunity is ideal for anyone looking to build on their
experience and develop their skills towards a long and rewarding career within
the Collision industry.

Job duties:
- Physically receive parts to invoice and check for any damages
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of our stocked items
- Store and deliver parts as required in a neat and timely fashion
- Track parts shipments to ensure parts arrive on time
- Keep the parts room organized and notify Auto Body Technicians when vehicle parts arrive
- Work with the accounting department to determine invoice discrepancies
Ideal Requirements:
- Previous parts experience in the automotive, auto body or related industry is preferred
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills to communicate effectively with Estimators on correction and part arrival times
- Strong attention to detail to ensure that the correct parts are being received for the repair, undamaged
- Demonstrate computer proficiency and basic mathematical skills
- Ability to perform physical work, which includes repetitive lifting of up to 50 lbs
- Post-secondary education in parts is an asset
- A valid Driver’s License is required
