Branch Manager - Heavy Equipment Dealership

Chinook Equipment in Nisku is seeking our next leader to join our team as Branch Manager to oversee the service, parts and sales departments. This opportunity will allow the successful candidate to step into a dealership to offer direction and make a visible difference, while being backed by an established family-owned group.
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead, engage and coach the branch operations of sales, rentals, service, and parts and hold them accountable to achieving business and productivity goals
- Plan and execute on all aspects of dealership-level operations and location identity, including overseeing productivity and sales forecasts and managing expenses
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and vendors; ensuring our employees make customer satisfaction a priority to create customer loyalty and generate referrals
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management of employees while taking an active role in developing talent for the future
- Model and champion our company values in day-to-day leadership to create a positive, motivating workplace
- Keep abreast of all manufacturer's current products and promotions and communicate changes to the Branch
- Work and collaborate with the Chinook Equipment leadership and resource teams to share/implement best practices
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Previous heavy equipment sales experience is required
- 2-3 years’ experience in a leadership capacity. We are looking for those who embody a ‘servant leadership’ style
- Strong understanding of the heavy equipment industry to be able to manage performance, results and teams
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills with a continuous improvement pedigree
- Results driven with exceptional planning, organization, execution skills and a proven track record for meeting or exceeding targets
- A valid Driver's License and satisfactory completion of a criminal and credit background check
